Awards
Please note that all awards should be picked up at the finish line. They will be available for pickup for a limited time after the race at the UAA Athletics office in the Alaska Airlines Center, Level 2, Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm.
Awards/medals will not be mailed. There is no awards ceremony.
Finisher Medals
All participants in every race will receive a finisher's medal specific to their event once they cross the finish line!
Age Group Award Medals
The top three finishers in each age group, per gender, for the Marathon and Half-Marathon will receive an award medal.
Age group awards are based on chip time.
Age groups are generally in 10 year increments.
Marathon - 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75+
Half Marathon - 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75+
Relay Award Medals
The top three teams in each division for the Marathon Relay event will receive an award medal.
Relay awards are based on gun time.
2026 Overall Awards
The top three finishers, per gender, for the Marathon and Half-Marathon will receive an Alaska Airlines Atmos Gold membership.
Overall awards are based on gun time.
In addition, the top three finishers, per gender, for the Marathon may receive a cash prize, upon eligibility confirmation. A taxable status determination form for the cash prize must be completed and received by UAA Athletics within 5 calendar days of race day in order to receive the payment.
